We'll visit a green wine estate with a rich history and stunning gardens. You'll visit a 17th-century family estate. It's one of the oldest producers of the famous Portuguese green wine, Vinho Verde. However, the name of the wine has nothing to do with the color green or the green grape varieties. Why is this wine still called "green"? We'll tell you during our tour.

The estate boasts a wine museum, which we'll definitely visit, and then stroll through the stunningly picturesque old garden in the shade of centuries-old beech and cedar trees. It's especially beautiful in the spring and summer months, when the cherry blossoms and camellias are in bloom. Peacocks with iridescent, multicolored tails stroll sedately along the garden paths, while streams babble all around. It all creates the feeling of being in a fairy tale.

And, of course, what would a visit to a winery be without a wine tasting? You'll sample two types of wine and two types of cheese produced on the estate.
